Could I Feel Any More Inadequate as a Mom???
I was perusing some FB pages of some "friends" I don't see often. Imagine my dismay when I saw these lunchbox pictures:

Of course you're not! Lunches like this are much more for the mom than they are for the kids. Perhaps she needs a creative outlet. I can tell you one thing, though. My kids would not enjoy taking these to school, and would most likely ask me, "Please just make me a regular lunch like the other kids. Pleeease Mom?" Pretty sure they would find it embarrassing. But maybe that's just my kids.
ReplyDeleteYou mean you don't have time to painstakingly create themed lunchboxes and use your million cookie cutters and cupcake wrappers to make something that will be consumed in five minutes beautiful?!?!?! you MUST not love your kids.
ReplyDeletep.s. at the end of the day, good for her. she likes to make things pretty. but like Lisa said above, this is more for her than the kids. she must be bored or she must love being creative. you have your own outlets too that she would be jealous of-- but let's all embrace our talents and not let what we are not great at get us down, kay?
